If you can find an empty world in the waterfall cave, it's possible to set up the cannon and hit multiple fire giants (by hiding between your cannon and the table I know it's possible). It's not nice if other people are there, but if you can get a world to yourself, it's decent experience and you can get some rune drops/d meds to cover your costs.
