December 18, 200817 yr I am stuck on this quest, I cannot get evil Dave to let me into the throne room. I am wearing my three articles of evil clothes (dyed desert robw top and bottom, farseer helmet, also my dyed silverlight) and he still will not let me in the portal... any suggestions?

December 18, 200817 yr Otherwise check your quest journal to see if you are missing anything. Sometimes it happens if you skip conversation/didn't finish a conversation and clicked somewhere else.
December 18, 200817 yr I had exactly the same thing. As far as I can tell, the problem is simply that the dyed slave robes, top and bottom, only count as ONE item. Head to Varrock and pick up a set of priest robes in the central clothing shop from Thessalia for like 15 gp. Wear them, grab a wizard's hat from south of Varrock, and you shouldn't have a problem. Or just wear full black armor. It's annoying, isn't it? I spent 30 minutes talking to every quest npc over and over trying to solve it. :wall:
