December 21, 200817 yr So I have been getting the majority of my questions answered, and figured I would ask a few in one topic, so I don't need to keep making them. First is about avvies. My combat stats are below. Would I be better off going with a food/b2p set-up, or prayer set-up? I am guessing food, since my prayer is low, but I wanted to confirm. Also, what is a cheap, yet effective, set-up gear wise? Next question is about general combat. If I don't want to train slayer, and just kill things, what could I kill? I used to train at trolls, and those worked pretty well, but is there anything else that is okay? I want to get my combat up a bit. Last is 99 stat wise. I am thinking either cooking/firemaking. General opinions? I am thinking cooking, but I wanted some opnions.
December 21, 200817 yr #1 I would say use the prayer potion method until you get higher defense. #2 Monk robe top, d'hide vams, holy symbol/armadyl symbol, climbing boots, sara d'hide helm, zamorak book and bows with bolts. I used to go like that. #3 Monkey guards on atoll are a nice choice. #4 Which do you like the most? there's your answer.
December 21, 200817 yr Tank with B2P my bud does it at 72 defence and does fine so thats not a worry. A nice set up would be torag helm, torag legs, god d hide top, god vambs, snakeskin boots, ava's accumulator, shield, rune c'bow, armadyl pendant, and broad-tipped bolts. Combat wise I would suggest doing slayer because the higher your level is the better the drops. For 99 it's just which do you like to do the most. December 21, 200817 yr Aviansies: I have trouble staying there at 95 defence, so I'd reccommend using the prayer method. General combat: Ghostly warriors are great exp, but if you haven't finished Spirit of Summer, I'd just say go with slayer for a while. When you get to around 80-80-80, a lot of other training methods become viable, but you'd be better off putting up with slayer for a few combat levels. I can't think of anything else, sorry :| 99: Are you going to be firemaking, or cooking, more? Cooking is useful if you want to cook your own sharks, but firemaking is good for Shade killing. It's up to you, really.
