I think the quickchat, instead of taking your xp to lvl, takes the xp for the whole level.

 

 

 

Ie: if the level from 80-81, was, say, 100k xp, the qc would say 100k xp to lvl no matter how far in you were.

 

 

 

I didn't check if it's the case for this one...but that's what it was doing for me the day it was introduced.

Log out, Quick chat saying the exp is like the highscores, you need to log out in order for it to update

It just shows the exp you needed when you FIRST LEVELED UP!
