Mourning Part 1 Help

Im doing the Mourning's Part 1 quest. Now Ive got up to the bit where Ive gotta add tar and coal into this machine thing.

 

 

 

Ive added the tar, and the coal.. But, i messed up and ran out of coal. Does this mean i ave like messed up with the tar aswell. Or wud that stay in there until ive done the actual thing with the coal and tar.

 

 

 

Ive got some more coal from fally bank, but its confusing lol.

you need more coal if you fail more you'll eventually need more tar

I suggest getting 2 or more barrels of tar so that if you messed up, it won't be a pain to go back all the way to Tyras camp and the swamp again. Should you ever need to go back to Tyras, you can charter a ship for 3500gp there instead of walking all the way using the mountain pass.

 

 

 

1. Add 2 coals (not more); watch the temp meter go up to the green zone. [added 3 before and it just went 'poof']

 

2. Turn the right valve; watch the green 'tar-bar' fill slowly while keeping an eye on the pressure meter.

 

3. Anytime the pressure meter starts getting too close for comfort to the red markings, immediately turn off the right valve.

 

4. At this point pressure meter should remain still; temp and pressure should drop to original position after you turn the left bleeder valve to ease the pressure on the pressure and the temperature. Turn off the left valve.

 

 

 

5. Repeat from step 1.

 

 

 

And I don't think the tar stays there till you come back. It's one shot or never lol :lol:
