Are these the same speed as a dragon axe and rune pickaxe?

The only problem with them is that they don't last long... u get around 90 magics with one axe then they run out. No point getting them imo. They're plainly overrated.

well, I think it's based off exp and the mining one would help since I'd rather play 20 mins of sc over 20 mins of mining. I tried the sc axe for a bit and it seems to be like a dragon axe's speed so thanks guys.

They arent overrated.

 

Jagex just makes something too good, notice it and make everything a god damn waste of time.
