well at the moment i am trying to play a movie that i ahve recently downloaded, when i go to play it it comes up with: An audio codec is needed to play this file. To determine if this codec is available to download from the Web, click Web Help.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

so i have gone to web help, found the codec needed downloaded it AND installed it, but when i go to play the movie it still comes up with the same codec error, what am i doing wrong? and i suppose to go into some option in windows media player and install the codec thru WMP?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

its got me baffeled i think im doing everything right! please someone help!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

PS, im running WMP 10

Which codec did you need to install?

 

 

 

Perhaps try in a player other than WMP such as DivX

If you dont have the code for it then dont try and dl it. there is no point jst try and dl the video again but make sure that it has the windows media player symbol next to it
