December 27, 200817 yr I was mining by the coal trucks with a rune pickaxe. I was not focusing on another window but was watching myself mining. Then suddenly the splitting axe random event took place however the pickaxe head was anywhere near me! I searched all around for about 10 minutes however the rune pickaxe head was not there. 31000 coins down the drain.
December 27, 200817 yr since this random event has been around for years, it is much more likely that you did not notice the pickaxe head than that the game has an error in it, because the random event has occured thousands of times correctly
