Multiple Java Versions, and something else too!

I was looking through my list of installed programs for things I don't need anymore, and I happened to notice that there were a lot of Java things installed.

Do I need all 3 of these? It seems like I'd only need the Update 11, but I'm not sure. Can I safely uninstall the older versions?

Also! Does anyone know if there is any way you can create a shortcut to a web page on my hard drive that will open up a web page with Firefox without the address bar, menu bar, or status bar, without disabling them when I open Firefox normally?

Make a shortcut and hit F11 when you open it. Not that hard ::'

As for the Java versions, I'm pretty sure that you can uninstall them, but unless you're really pressed for hard drive space, leave them. They're about 300mb total.

There is a browser called prism that is made specifically for that type of thing. Its basically a toned down version of firefox that is made for online apps. It doesnt have an address bar, menu bar, or status bar since it is normally used for single webpages like google apps or runescape. http://labs.mozilla.com/2007/10/prism/ Its what I use and I love it. It uses less memory than firefox and it runs another instance of xulrunner so if your firefox browser crashes your runescape window wont.

Edit: also you dont need those older versions of java. For some reason when the java autoupdates on windows it leaves the previous versions installed.

This is ALMOST exactly what I need, except that it doesn't carry your add-ons from FireFox over to this program. Most importantly, I don't have my Tip.It micro helper! :ohnoes:

I could do this, but its not preferable to me because it goes into a true full screen mode. I'd like to be able to access the windows task bar to be able to quickly switch between windows.
