First question: Red are more powerful when using them as a weapon. Thus, harder to catch, and worth more.

 

 

 

Second question: no.

Reds are stronger.

 

 

 

The area of effect of a chin is 9 squares and works on all monsters that are on those squares, just like Ice Barrage.
