Umm...did I break my MP3 player?? =(

Featured Replies

So I got my new MP3 player for Christmas and I had it charging (hooked into my laptop) So the laptop decides to update itself and restart itself, now my MP3 player won't turn on. :( What do I do?

First thing you could do is consult the manual that came with the MP3 player, chances are there is a pin-sized hole somewhere on the device that is actually a restart button that'll reboot it, and may solve the problem.

Secondly, What kind of Mp3 player is it, specific brands will help us to help you; Ipod, Zune, Creative, etc, there's tons of brands, help narrow it down a bit. One of us may have lived through the same problem.

I really doubt you broke the device, there must've been just some technical problem within the device, a glitch of some sort, I can't believe the laptop update would make an external device mess up, so I wouldn't worry.

If all else fails there's always the possibility you got a lemon, so keep the receipt handy.

If you can, do a Hard Reset on your MP3 Player. That is when you force it to reset. I don't know what MP3 Players you have, so I don't know how you would do it.

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
