Bagman
Is 99 cooking worth it? I am trying to think of a long term 99 stat to work for. I was thinking thieving, but figured it would take too long. I am currently lvl 70 cooking, so what lvls do I start what fish?
gorgoroth
well Any 99skill IMO is worth it. Ive got 99cooking myself. Its not that hard really, especially not from 70. Just cook salmon till 74, lobsters till 86 then swordfish till 99. Thats how i did it in F2P. Not sure about mems. I just got my final 100k exp in mems :/ **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
EWSentinel
Cooking is a good skill to train along with fishing. I got my 99 in cooking before my 99 fishing by fishing and cooking my monkfish. Monkfish fish is almost as fast as lobs, but gives more fishing xp than shark, and gives even more cooking xp. So not only did I make a profit, but it really didn't take me all that long to get my cooking cape, comparatively. :) KoAClan.org for adults
ultimatballr
Starting at 80 I did lobbs until 94 then I am doing Sharks until 99. So do what someone else said, Tuna until 74 then lobbs. (you can switch to swordies if you want, I just did lobbs) I don't know what all these people are talking about when they say monks are more exp than sharks. I don't think they realize monks are only faster exp when fishing then expect them to be while cooking too. Last I checked 150 exp (monk) is less than 210 exp (shark) but maybe I am wrong . Don't forget to wear your cooking Guants. Apparently, my signature was to big.
Bagman
So I do: Something till 74 (tuna, salmon, etc) then from 74 to 86 do lobs then 86 to 99 do shark? Is that about right?
ultimatballr
No don't start sharks until 94, that way you won't burn them (with cooking guants worn) Up to 94 either you can do lobs, swordies (at 86 to not burn) or monks (which you never stop burning) I did lobs. Apparently, my signature was to big.
Romy
Both thieving and Cooking can be done in less than a month, not to mention Cooking, if you're willing to spend lots of money, can be done in less than 2 weeks!
daniels911
What? Theiving takes to long? The only faster stats that dont need over 30m are cooking, fletching, and possibly firemaking :wall: [/bads]
