How much weaker are grey chinchompas?

Featured Replies

Relative to the red ones, of course, how much lower will my max hit be? Since I am planning on using them where I can only hit 5-6 enemies at once, I'd like to be more economical about it and use the grey ones if I would only lose like 2-3 max hit with them.

I'm also not averse to hunting my own chinchompas, but I haven't done it much since before people knew much about them, and don't know what to expect with hunting for either kind. Will the greys be emptier? Are the red chinchompa spots always crowded?

I think they have the same max hit but lower accuracy

Red +70 range bonus

Grey is like +45 or +35 :-?

Though I am unsure as to the lower maximum hit, I have heard that they are more efficient in comparison to the red ones.

At the moment, grey chinchompas cost less than two thirds of what red chinchompas cost (415:679, respectively), so if their max hit is pretty close to the red chinchompas, then they are probably better to use money-wise.

On hunting grey chinchompas (as I cannot hunt reds), the spots, to my experience, aren't usually overly crowded, except at maybe one or two worlds at peak times. For the best results, go to a highly populated world while hunting so they will respawn faster.

When I see people say it, I pronounce it "poon" in my head. Makes more sense to me. My friend said it in real life once and I almost kneed him in the family-maker.
