New POH Ideas (will finish when I get back)

Ok,so these are new ideas I had for rooms in your POH. There are ideas for new rooms, as well as new ideas for already-made rooms. These ideas are based for new rooms that are not just for decoration, but also for training skills in a new way. Do enjoy please, it took me like a week to come up with these ideas. -.-

These ideas are purly made from me, but some idas may have already been suggested. I did not know if they were, and Absolutly NO FLAMMING!

[hide=Pond - 10 Construction & 5 Fishing]Ok, I think you should be able to have a pond in a room. It CANNOT be next to any 1 room on your house (you need it to be at least 1 space away from, for example, your chapel.) It will require 10 construction to make, as well as 5 fishing. In order to make the Pond, you will ned the following: 1 Large Spade (buy from Blast Furnace dwarf for 10k each) and 2 Large Buckets filed with water (can buy 1 Empty Bucket from Blast Furnace Dwarf for 2k, so 4k for 2 Buckets). You will also need to pay 7k to make the room. You can also add fish it, but to do that, you need to do to the Fishing store in Catherby, and buy a Large Tank for 7,000 coins. You can fill that tank up with any type of FISH (cannot put in tank: Frog Spawn, Big Tuna, Swordfish, and Sharks, and junk from Big Net Fishing) that your allowed to fish up to, but in order to place them in the Tank, you need to be 5 levels past the requirement to fish them. You are also not allowed to put any Quest-related fish into the tank (ex: Lava Eels.) Stat boosters DO work for placing them in the tank. But before you do that, you must fill the tank with water at any water source. The tank will hold up to 50 fish, and you can have an unlimited ammount of Fish in your pond. You can let them live in the water without fish food, and ocassionally watching them jump out of the water. Or you can fish them, but only worth 1/2 the normal exp you would normally get.

POND HOTSPOTS:

-Pond (requires: 1 Large Spade, 2 Water-filled Large Bukets)[/hide]

Another of my ideas was the Summoning room. Yes, I know this ideas was suggested before, but I have tried not to use too many of the other person's ideas. To make this room, you will need 20 in both Construction and Summoning, as well as completion of Wolf Whistle (it's possible to level up without Wolf Whistle if you use Lamps / books / FOg, i'm pretty sure.) There are a few things you can make in this room, special items for this room include: a Summoning Obelisk, Offering Obelisks (2), and a Summoning Display case.

(Will finish when I get back, going out for a bit.)

I totally agree with these ideas :)

The summon room, however, would not contain a thing to make pouches or scrolls. Just to restore the points.

as we can have an altar in a chapel to restore prayer, i think it'd be great to have restore summon as well :D

nice find matey ;)

I'll read later as some updates seem to be coming

Really keeps Construction fresh. Nice.

Hopefully the materials for the new rooms can be made by players, instead of us having to spend around hundreds of thousands of gp on each room..

Only fear God,

Know the weapons of the weak,

The weakness of the hard.

  • 2 weeks later...

I don't agree with the pond suggestion (you can't cut the trees you put in your garden, or harvest the flowers in formal garden), but I do agree with summoning. I may make a summoning room plot with my crappy paint skills if we don't have school tomorrow :D. I will also use some of the ideas thought up in this thread in my design.
