I have noticed a lot of people useing autoing programs to autotype (who hasn't). Is it against the game rules to autotype. I mean it is not really cheating or is it just an easy way out of typing. I also have a question about a ghost mouse... Is it against the rules to use a ghost mouse while sitting at your computer watching the screen and talking with the other people around you? (This is for something like fletching or cooking)

all autoing is illegal because jagex excludes using 3rd party programs in runescape.

I'm pretty sure it used a third party software to type it for you and thus it would be against the macroing rules.

Using a ghost mouse is illegal because you're not going through the actual action of doing the task.

 

Although you may be at your computer and not away from it, you're not exerting any force and using a macro to repeatedly accomplish a task for you. So yes, it is illegal.

Any tool used to play the game FOR you is considered autoing and is a violation of the RuneScape rules. Both of the methods you mentioned (auto typing and ghost mouse) are against the rules. Using any program which gives you an unfair advantage over users who do not have that program is not permitted. You must be doing all the work yourself.
