January 5, 200917 yr When I'm playing Fist of Guthix (f2p), should I wear Green D'hide when my opponent is maging or Monk Robes to protect from magic for longer? Thanks.
January 5, 200917 yr Definetely the green dhide. That combined with protect from mage is really nice vs mage. Plus, if he changes it up on you and does range or melee, you have a little defense from the green dhide.
January 5, 200917 yr What big stingman said. I always wear green dragonhide. Woodcutting does not raise your combat level because most people do not play as yew trees.
January 5, 200917 yr I find the best FoG outfit to be Full Green D'hide with a Rune Plate in your inventory(for melee and rangers). Cant go wrong with it. January 5, 200917 yr It's a tough call. If you're tanking in the center, your defense is gonna pretty heavily nerfed anyway. Prayer is a necessity, but you're still gonna take heavy hits even with prayer on. I'd suggest green dhide, though. An entire game with extra mage def > 1 minute of protection prayer. P.S. Sorry for the thread hijack, but does prayer flashing work in PvP combat? If so (and you're up against predictable opponents who just come for mage xp) then try conserving prayer that way.
