What equipment would you people recommend to make a decent Mage/Range hybrid, functioning in an area with medium-high chance of death and against accurate and hard-hitting monsters?

 

 

 

I also need decent Range/Magic protection. So I'm basically looking for high offence and defence on both.

 

 

 

I'm not willing to wear items over 1M in value. Reasons for this being is that I don't have the money for it (or more like, not willing to pay the money for it).

You should range/melee them tbh. And if you're not wearing items over 1m you wont get quick kills. If you are good you won't die.. just take a ring of life?

Well, I have killed quite a few with melee/range before, but I want to try something new.

 

I can only manage 2 kills/trip with melee/range anyway.

 

 

 

Oh, and training Attack or Strength is COMPLETELY out of the question.

Barrow gloves, verac's plateskirt, mystic top, helm of neitiznot, granite shield (or something better), glory amulet, mystic boots, good bolts, and... cast whatever combat spell you want... shouldn't cost you too much. But I honestly think you would do better with a... slightly larger budget :)
