A friend of mine want to get his ranged level up to 95 or even 99. HE hasent got alot of wealth but he is looking for a fast way to get it up. How much would it cost him to get his ranged from 80 to 95? How fast exp are yaks?

Bronze / Iron Knives. It's hard to calculate the amount of money he'll need to buy the knives as you always hit differently; though it is possible to find the amount of yaks/other monsters he'd need to kill for level 95 ranged - click me.

I would reccomend avianses or slaying 99 range with broad bolts over yaks. Yaks are highly over-rated imo

 

 

 

but costs hmm. just calc how many yaks you need for 99, then say you will lose 2-3 knives per yak (estimate, could vary) so like 28-42 gp per kill with bronze knives. so average it out at like 35 gp or something per yak then times how many yaks you need kill for a very estimated cost total

Aviansies till 99 will be about a 80mil profit, but also 2months of killing. Over 35k Aviansies. Going to be very boring. I guess it will be worth it. He can always do Aviansies till 96 then use some of the money to buy chins.

I agree. He will make a ton of money getting 99 ranged, not loose it like on yaks. Aviansies are easy to do and also easily accesible. I belive you need Death Plateu(sp?) and Troll Stronghold to use the boulder method (70 str) to GWD. You also get clues which can break up the monotony of training. :thumbsup:

you can make money off yaks though

the main question is exp for yaks without losing much

 

plus the cows are too spread out

 

 

 

my main point is that you can make money and somewhat good exp while killing yaks
