January 12, 200917 yr I am looking to get m runecrafting up to level 50 so I can enter the runecrafting guild. I have decided to do it just by making runes (no tiaras) and was wondering wether I should use earth or air runecrafting gloves from FOG. I know that xp wise crafting earth runes would be faster however I was wondering if air runes was significantly faster (ie quicker trips) or more of a money maker to be worth training instead. As the token prices are the same I was torn between the two. All imputs welcome. Woodcutting does not raise your combat level because most people do not play as yew trees.

January 12, 200917 yr Atually, earth runs are about 4second longer than air runs. So in the end earths are still faster. I would just stick to earths to be honest. January 12, 200917 yr It makes banking a lot faster for crafting airs, because you can teleport right near the east bank in Fally and then get about as close to the air altar as you would be from the west bank in Fally, perhaps even a little closer. Should cut your time per run almost in half. Not to mention the fact that crafting earth runes loses money until level 52, while you only need level 33 runecrafting to profit from airs.
