January 13, 200917 yr I've just revived my computer from a MAJOR virus attack and now need to install everything, but I have forgotten what my sound card is. I have looked inside the computer, but I could not tell. I looked where the speakers plug into the back and saw where that lead to on the inside, and it leads to a huge orange board with tons of wires and the video card connected too. The fan is also on the orange board. The computer I am using is Touch systems Synergio with WinXP sp2 and has a Radeon 9550 card in it. Does anyone know this make and what the soundcard in it is? I need to reinstall the driver for the sound in order to have sound. Oh yeah, and I've thought of taking babies and throwing them. For funsies. - Lenticular J"Isn't it pathetic how everything in our society is built around someone screwing someone else out of their money?" - killerbeer0 on American SocietyRebdragon can't wiz a woz.
January 13, 200917 yr Is the soundcard built in with the motherboard? 8,180WONGTONG IS THE BEST AND IS MORE SUPERIOR THAN ME#1 Wongtong stalker.Im looking for some No Limit soldiers!
January 13, 200917 yr A model number of the computer or something along those lines would help. An orange board with an orange fan is a rather broad statement
January 13, 200917 yr Author the fan is not orange, it is black. and yes, i guess the sound card might be built into the motherboard. "Model 61319" is what it says on a sticker o nthe side of my computer. on the back there is a sticker that says "SY-TS-E-N35". Oh yeah, and I've thought of taking babies and throwing them. January 13, 200917 yr Which did you get, if the motherboard details are correct, then the ALC653 is an AC97 codec, not a HD one, so you would want the AC97 driver version A4.06 You may also need the VIA chipset driver installed before anything else can be properly configured http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx?Pa ...
