January 15, 200917 yr What is the best for these 2 skills? I'm currently 75 Woodcutting and 70 fishing, seeking 80 for both. I was thinking of getting 75-80 Woodcutting at teaks, how much xp/hr is this? I was going to get 70-80 fishing at Rasoul fishing spot, using a drop trick, so drop an inventory in about 14 seconds. Would this be the best way? January 15, 200917 yr Due to the new 'cut-x' option at barbarian, Shilo fishing probably reigns supreme again. -.- Also, you should steak with teaks, I believe at your level you could get 45-60k experience per hour depending on your concentration. Retired Crew Member | Retired RuneScape Player
January 15, 200917 yr I believe the power-fishing and power-woodcutting techniques both give around 40-50k xp/hr. I'm not sure on the exact amounts for Teaks, but I believe Ollyc3 just finished cutting them for 99 woodcutting, so ask him if you can. : Barberian fishing is arguably the best way to obtain fishing experience, but I am told this is after 80 fishing. I haven't had time to test it recently and do not remember my experience rate from past excursions. I am currently just fly fishing in Shilo, and still haven't bothered to calculate those rates. I don't believe you will see a significant difference in experience with the methods you asked about. It will likely just come down to personal preference. With the Rasoul method you'd be dropping fish, and with Heavy Rod fishing you'd be cutting them. Both require some extra clicking. However, while Heavy Rod fishing you also get agility & strength experience for fishing and cooking experience for gutting the fish. If you don't get any responses that help with your decision, then just simply try each spot for 30-60mins and record your findings.
