January 17, 200917 yr Actually I think the charges randomly decrease your opponents defence OR your own. Maybe I'm wrong. Also, it has a defence requirement to equip it, 10 if I am right.

I would just buy a uncharged one to not get distracted by the charges being lowered.
January 18, 200917 yr The 10 charges randomly affect any monster during combat with a defence lowering thing so you shouldn't really worry about the charges. You should buy it, it's the best for slayer.
