July 24, 200520 yr  Alright, my friend let me borrow his gamecube, and it has an RFU Nintendo 64 Adapter, I know nothing about Gamecube but he says that's what I have to plug into my TV for video and audio. Now, I couldn't find where to plug it in, so I unplugged something in my TV and try to stick the cable into that part of my TV, but, it didn't fit. I took it out and looked at it and the piece of the end of the cable that you stick into the TV broke! I looked at it and the | part that you stick into the TV was bent like \. So, I unplugged the GC, got a knife and tried to push it to normal area and it snapped off! I don't know how much it costs or anything, but I doubt I can fix it. So... How much do they cost and where can I get another one? I can't seem to find them on the internet, and my friend said it was compatible for N64 and Gamecube.. so... What I'm asking is if someone can find the same product or something that does the same thing as the RFU N64 adapter on one of these sites since they are close to where I live http://www.futureshop.ca/home.asp?newlang=EN&logon=&langid=EN http://www.ebgames.com http://www.walmart.com Sorry but I don't know anything about GC.[/url]
July 24, 200520 yr This should work. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product. ... id=1724356 You should really search for these things yourself.
July 24, 200520 yr Oh My God. There is only one way to fix this problem. Get a sledgehammer and swing it at the gamecube hard, when it is in more than 50 pieces problem solved! Your terrible GCN is dead :) On a serious note, good luck with finidng the part, sinice it's your friends I guess thats pretty harsh :(
July 24, 200520 yr I think this is what you're looking for.. http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/224509.asp It's only $8. It is pre-owned, but, the one you broke is pre-owned as well, so it doesn't make a difference. :) I can't find a new one on the site, but they may have them in the store. Oh, and, don't feel bad, I've done the exact same thing to other stuff before.. :(
July 24, 200520 yr You could just give your friend a hug and hope he forgives you.. :) He could just use his normal composite video cable, and he can plug his GC into a VCR or a newer tv...
July 24, 200520 yr Author Thanks everyone :) This should work. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product. ... id=1724356 You should really search for these things yourself. I know, but I said I didn't know anything about the cables for N64 or GC because I've never owned one, so I wouldn't know what to get and what does what or anything.
July 24, 200520 yr Oh, and, don't feel bad, I've done the exact same thing to other stuff before.. :( Lmao, I think we all have. I swear i've killed a few cheap ps/2 mouses and keyboards the exact same way. Put it in wrong, doesnt go in properly of course, take it out, a pin is bent, try to fix with something flat like a nailfiler or knife, and it snaps, damit. Thank god everything is USB now adays
July 25, 200520 yr I almost killed one of my monitors a few days ago. That was really bad. Thankfully the pins bent back easily..
July 25, 200520 yr http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp ... 7624501049 $7.99, new. I have one, but thanfully I no longer need it.
July 25, 200520 yr Author Thanks everyone, but we decided I'll just give him $10 which he will spend on McDonalds, and he will have to use regular audio/video cords and be un-lazy.
