January 20, 200917 yr are they worth training on? i have red dhide and a dragon scimitar, am combat lvl93 and have 47 slayer. i heard they have low attack, strength and defense, with high hitpoints. and is the blood rune drap common?
January 20, 200917 yr Not power training no. If you get them for a slayer task they are good. Trust the Gene Genie!
January 20, 200917 yr Author how come not for power training? and whaat about the blood rune drop? is it common enough to make any decent money while training? or are there better options.
January 20, 200917 yr They drop blood runes quite frequently, but not too often to make great money of. Good for slayer, so-so for regular training. You can stay there forever with B2P tablets. I found Guthans not very efficient for healing as they used a magic based melee attack. For money, do green dragons or so if you are combat minded. Gathering secondaries for herblore (snape grass for example) or tanning hides are probably better money. Other data was removed when acoount got hacked...
January 20, 200917 yr Well bloodveld's attack are magic base, so you'd be forced to wear dragonhide or karils which degrade canceling the profit from blood runes (with low def\mage level you will take damage often). That also means that str boosting meele gear is out of the question and will lower exp rates. Its another story ranging them the safespot as it is decent exp, though kind of annoying. Your better off power training on other monsters.
January 20, 200917 yr They hit quite often on me even when I'm wearing black d'hide. You'll need a lot of food and have to bank a lot and the blood runes couldn't make up for the food used.
January 20, 200917 yr Cos if ya power training you'll be doing it somewhere better, like Armoured Zombies. Trust the Gene Genie!
January 20, 200917 yr Author ok i guess considering what i was expecting, this is quite negative.I shall ry anyhow. Thanks for your help!
January 21, 200917 yr ok i guess considering what i was expecting, this is quite negative.I shall ry anyhow. Thanks for your help! Seriously don't bother power training there. You can't wear metal armour as they attack with mage based melee, so healing via Guthans is out. You can use B2P but it's a hassle collecting bones, and defeats the purpose of power training. The drops are mediocre, deaths are the same price as bloods, so go to brine rats if you want that sort of cash. Either train melee via slayer or go and power train at Armoured Zombies. Good XP and cash rewards. Trust the Gene Genie!
