January 22, 200917 yr It depends. If you need a certain task to be able to get to them, then yes you need to do the quest. For example, you won't get dark beasts assigned unless you've done ME2.

January 22, 200917 yr Mourning end part 2. If you dont got everything to slay that monster you cant get him as asignament.
