fishing and summoning

I'm going for some fishing levels (not really sure if I'll commit to 99 yet) and I'm wondering how well (if at all) the Ibis speeds up your xp. I don't mind at all just buying the pouches, but I'm wondering if anyone has an idea of how much xp/hr they increase or anything like that.

 

 

 

I'm fishing monks so there is a obelisk near to recharge. Thanks!

i don't know how much by but i would use to 90 just to get it that much faster

 

 

 

and depends on where your fishing if its at shilo then just use summon pots if at guild there is oblisk there or if at fishing coloney use summon pots

Shilo has an obelisk.

 

 

 

Anyway, the ibis's added fishing xp is negligible. You might get two monkfish's equivalent of xp per pouch if you're lucky. The real carrot is the profit you get out of it, which is also minor, but good enough to be worth using if it isn't too much trouble.

 

 

 

The granite lobster, by the way, is much better.

The granite lobster requires lvl 74, which he doesn't have....

 

 

 

I used the Ibis at Piscatoris, and emptied it when banking the monkfish. You'll profit using the pouches, get some free xp and fishing SHOULD go a bit faster, since it provides a fishing boost. There are NO reasons not ot use it. You can even make some pouches yourself when you have to recharge your summonning points, since the 2nd ingredient is sold in the Piscatoris general shop.

 

 

 

Just for boosting fishing xp, it has little effect, but I guess things add up over time, and all xp you get extra, well, that's just nice.
