July 27, 200520 yr My Windows Recently had glitched completely, so i reinstalled windows xp version . Well, ever since i installed it, i have these messages poping up, such [wagon] ALERT, 47 errors found in registry go to this web site (microsoft web site) and run registry scan, im sure i do not have any problems, these are just ad-wares stuff like that by Microsoft, , HOW DO I STOP ANNOYING MESSAGES???? :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

July 27, 200520 yr not having patches is a bad idea, especialy if you use the internet a lot. i'd belive registering would cause money, but than again, i'm not entierly sure.

I don't know how your friend got away with it, but it's like Nadril said, patches and updates are important. Your computer will be vulnerable to virus attacks if you don't have the latest updates and patches, so ya. Sup noobs.

July 27, 200520 yr You were being spammed by people abusing the Messenger service (NOT MSN or Windows Messenger) there are many ways top fix this... 1. Turn Off Messenger service http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/usin ... pspam.mspx 2. Upgrade to SP2 where it is turned off as Default 3. July 27, 200520 yr Author i found other way to stop them, i went to control panel into admi. tools and into component services and i found Messenger Service, which was causing the spam, so i turned it off. Now, its fine.
