forestfrolic Posted January 31, 2009 Share Posted January 31, 2009 Getting 70 defense very soon. I have money for barrows, but I'm unsure on what I should get. One question first, though. To be able to use a set's special, does that include the barrows weapon? Or can you still get the special using another weapon, like a whip for example. Okay. So what are good combinations of barrows armours? I'll be using them for training combat. And I think I'll start slayer as well. (I'm a new member on this account). If it's easier, just list what each barrows set is good for. And what different mixes of armours are good for. firanzo1 Posted January 31, 2009 Share Posted January 31, 2009 If you want good defence bonuses for a low price, mix and match parts of Torag's armour. If you want to camp out somewhere, get Guthan's whole set. Verac's set basically just lets you hit alot more accurately. Dharok's can be used for training at Ape Atoll, or just for the fun of seeing high hits when you're low on hp. As for Kharil's and Ahrim's armours, don't bother unless you've got a lot of money.
