February 7, 200917 yr Level 10 defense. The number in parenthesis represents charges. When you wear it during a slayer assignment, assuming it has any number of charges except zero, it decreases the monster's defense stat. February 7, 200917 yr There are no wielding requirements. The number after it is the charges. Black masks come with 10 charges that randomly activate to reduce your opponent's defence. To be honest, to melee a slayer task without it seems like a waste, because you're missing out on the extra attack and strength bonuses, which really speeds things up 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]
