July 30, 200520 yr From what I hear the Pentium 4 is the worst processor for heat related problems, and mine is no exception. Yesterday it finally got to the extreme and crashed due to overheating. So I ask you all ;) Is there any tips on cooling it down that you may have for me? It is custom built, and has extra fans which still seem to do very little. I am not 100% sure on all the specs as I didn't build it, but paid someone to do it for me ;) I am thinking about taking one of the sides off and setting a fan next to it, would this help much? lol

July 31, 200520 yr Author Well, I do not know a whole heap about computers, so I will assume the best thing for me to buy is the most expensive rofl. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6835106057 That looks good. Btw, right now I have settled for getting Intel Activemonitor (really annoying, but it works) removing the side of my computer, and setting up a HUGE fan next to it rofl. Working so far.

Your case might not fit it, however if it does fit its one great showoff lol. I have the previous one i listed. Bought it off Newegg when my old pc friend and i decided to build my own and overclock it.
August 3, 200520 yr Hi Kiel, I recommend water cooling. Only con is that it can be a disaster to set up, but once you get it hooked up you can run your pc at about 39C average. Search Newegg.com for Water Cooling if your interested.

Search Newegg.com for Water Cooling if your interested. This shows how pathetic my computer knowledge is, I didn't even know you could watercool a computer.
