Fekambard
Ok so I heard stunning monsters is a good way to gain xp, now preferably I want to fail as many times as possible so I'll have to be wearing armour and using a mud battlestaff, I might also lend out my godsword to reduce the cost even more. -Now a soul rune will cost me around 370gp and I will gain 90xp per cast. That will be 4.111...gp/xp. -With SC robe bottoms it will be 370gp and a xp gain of 180xp per cast. That will be 2.0555...gp/xp. Is this correct? And should I train at PC and use the points for more mage xp?

And should I train at PC and use the points for more mage xp? The math is correct. The issue is that the exp you gain in PC is half of what it should be. ie you would only gain 45 exp per standard cast and 90 per SC item cast [hide=Drops]Dragon Axe x11Berserker Ring x9Warrior Ring x8SeercullDragon MedDragon Boots x4 - all less then 30 kcGodsword Shard (bandos)Granite Maul x 3Solo only - doesn't include barrows[/hide][hide=Stats][/hide]

EDIT: Also is the xp gained the same no matter if you fail or the spell works?
ultimatballr
The dummy in your house (maybe the one in Fally? Wherever those new dummies are not in Varrock). I hear stunning dummies (again, at least the ones in your own house) gives 80k exp/hour. Apparently, my signature was to big.

Ok thanks for the help, seems like a great way to train magic now.
