Nagrom_17
I was wondering the most efficient(minimal loss) way to get from 60-70 smithing, I can mine up to adamantite and have been mining a mixture of coal and mithril but now I am wondering if it would be better to sell the mithril and buy iron ore or just mine coal and sell the extra to buy mithril ore but I don't know if that would be better so now I am asking the community in hopes someone will know. Thanks in advanced for any help. :D Doing random stuff on runescape. Engel
You could always stock up on iron ore and rings of forging and smelt your way to 70. If the prices haven't changed too much, you can double your money (more or less) by doing this. It's quite tedious, though.
homowz
you can try to mine mith/addy and coal and use superheat later on u sell addy bars and make mith bolts from the mith bars, or buy iron bars and smith them into nails. the last 1 is slower but you will make only small lost(if u sell in GE) or even gain some money(if you sell at the construction shop=>sawmill) use a sc hammer to speed up the smithing [hide]visage drop 11/01/09goals:all skills 70+ (completed)all skills 80+98% Of teenagers surround their minds with rap music, if you're part of the 2% that stayed with rock, put this in your signature, ROCK IS BETTER![/hide]

homowz
sorry I forgot to mention that I am f2p now and wont be getting members again but thanks for the information anyway in that case do the mining part with superheat. it will take some time, but you will get ur mage and mining up also. otherwise if you have some money to waste, make iron bodys... it costs some money but its quite fast [hide]visage drop 11/01/09goals:all skills 70+ (completed)all skills 80+98% Of teenagers surround their minds with rap music, if you're part of the 2% that stayed with rock, put this in your signature, ROCK IS BETTER![/hide]
Nagrom_17
about making iron bodies do you mean buy iron bars and alc the bodies or what? and I will take your advice on super heating mithril at least until I find something that could be better. Nefelia
I recently went through the same thing, though I started off from 55 smithing. I mined mithril and coal in the Mining Guild, superheated, banked, and smithed mithril bolts. Save up the money you make selling bolts, and by the time you get to smithing 68 or 69 you can start buying mithril bars for smithing: you'll be losing some of your hard earned money, but getting smithing xp a lot more quickly...think of it as the sprint at the end of a marathon.
