STiSkill
Hey everyone. Im looking for ways to level up my Magic. I'm currently level 86. I've heard a few different ways. Is there a way I can super heat with out a major loss, or break even? I wouldn't mind leveling my smiting a bit with that so. Are there other ways? I was gonna buy 99 Magic via stringing but I couldn't buy any gold ammy's in the g.e and that was the best option for me. So what options can I look at to level my magic. Im not a fan of bursting/ancients. Thanks everyone. iCraftin's Blog Of Doom!
homowz
i dont kno about superheating, but u wont get a lot of xp/h with this if u need a better way to lvl magic, do MTA and use magic pots/magic essence pots so u can use onyx enchant. the xp/h is known to be better than alching and the money lost isnt that huge since u get a couple of runes(death/blood/chaos/nature) and u can use the points to buy some more cosmics. jjjon123
People say superheat mithril (53xp mag 30xp smith/cast, ~35 gp loss/cast) but its slow.... superheating steel is MUCH faster (53xp mag 17.5xp smith/cast, ~56 gp loss/cast) but it cost a tad more 1,000 F2P Total Level Reached 10/8/10 ! llamster
^Steel is that cost-effective? Last I checked it was only slightly cheaper than iron, making it useless. tripsis
If I were you, I'd finish off 99 crafting by making dragonhide armour, and then alch the armour. Then you could even do the same with fletching and yew longs. But if you only want to focus on magic, then superheating or alching is probably the most cost-efficient way to do it (just a guess though, judging by the above replies). - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog
llamster
^With today's prices selling the products and buying good alchables (addy platebodies are the most cost-effective in F2P, and I've heard that battlestaves are good for P2P) is waaaay more efficient. Green dragonhide bodies used to be good until recently (I'll have to check the price), and yew longs downright suck for alching.
