Its just that, I haven't seen this before, and didn't find this on your random events list.

 

But.

 

I were going to canifis, I saw multiple guys mining something and were like, wtf, and joined them.

 

We were mining a star. It gives you star dust when you mine it, and takes only one space, like arrows.

 

And when there is enough mined, alien pops out (or actually its a star sprite) and gives anyone that has mined prices, which can be anything in random. But the prices cost is about how much star dust you have, I had 47, I got 17 astral runes, 17k and 55 cosmic. Oh and 7 gold ore. Some one got like 90k. And here is the picture;

This is a distraction and diversion added quite a few months ago. It is very good mining experience, as well as giving you around 50k gold a day.
