The bonus of the salamander goes to slash and range not to mage, so maybe range armour has effect?

The bonus of the salamander goes to slash and range not to mage, so maybe range armour has effect? there is a BIG difference in mage accuracy when wearing melee armor compared to say, arhims. however, for slaamanders, its best to wear black dhide, and magic acessories (such as mage cape,mystic boots, ect) and bring melee armor and weapons. also, double posting is genraly frowned apon here, jsut edit your post. you dont need to bump constantly like you do on the Runescape Offical Forums. There's probably zero difference between ahrim's and full melee gear with conventional spells either at Barrows, lol. The melee brothers' mage defence is the lowest in the game. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
