Range stat improves salamander?

For a salamander i need to wear range armour to improve my hits?

Salamander's attack in all 3 styles. Melee, Mage and Range.

 

 

 

How each type is effected by bonus I do not know.

im pretty sure that wearing range armor makes the range attack more accurate, since magic armor mages the mage attack more accurate. :thumbup:

So i was thinking to go to barrows in range armour if it affects the salamander, if not i go in melee armour.

 

 

 

The bonus of the salamander goes to slash and range not to mage, so maybe range armour has effect?

there is a BIG difference in mage accuracy when wearing melee armor compared to say, arhims. however, for slaamanders, its best to wear black dhide, and magic acessories (such as mage cape,mystic boots, ect) and bring melee armor and weapons.

There's probably zero difference between ahrim's and full melee gear with conventional spells either at Barrows, lol. The melee brothers' mage defence is the lowest in the game.
