February 28, 200917 yr Me and my friend want to duo the KBD but i need to know a few things: 1: what protect prayer to use 2: i am ranging with 71 range, what bolts should i use and do i need to use hawk eye? 3: are summons usefull? (50 summoning) Information: i am ranging and he is melleeing, we both got mid 50's prayer and mid 70's in other combat skills. We are planning on using black dragon hide armour and praying mellee but we don't know if this is the best way.

February 28, 200917 yr if you melee, pray melee and drink anti-fire as well as using anti-fire shield for range, anti-fire pots and shield is plenty, mage protect just replaces the pots or shield also try and surround him, so he has to turn to attack, reduces damage dragon deals You only live twice. February 28, 200917 yr That is a decent setup, but I would try and get one more person, otherwise I doubt you will be hitting often and him, and could easily be crashed. I range him with 81 range + void and use a tort+bunyip after and I get from 6-8 kills. You two should get around that, maybe, maybe more. Don't forget and anti fire pot, super anti poisions, and super sets. GL! Also, if you are ranging, then pray MELEE and stand right near him. This works alot better then praying mage, since that only slightly lowers damage taken. Don't let prayer drop tho! February 28, 200917 yr 1. Ranger should pray protect magic/Melee should pray protect melee 2. Bolts to use Diamond(e)/Ruby(e) keeping in mind that the ruby reduce your health also 3. The only useful summon you have at that level is a Bull-Ant so use if for the extra supplies you can bring.
