Speedyshel
I found a conflict between information on the Combat and Prayer guides. The white armour on the Combat Guide says you need 1300+ black knight kills to unlock the full shop of armour and the Prayer Guide says you need 1600 black knights kills in each item description. Combat Guide: http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=combat_guide.htm#sets Prayer Guide: http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=prayer_guide.htm#armour Runescape: http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarticle.ws?article_id=2146 Hope this helps! - Speedyshel Website Updates and Corrections *..It is better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you're not..*
pokemama
Wow. I'm guessing that Jagex changed it after the release, that's all I can think of. The Combat guide perfectly matches the Jagex website page. (thanks for including the links, that helps us SO much!!) However, we do list the plateskirt at the lowest tier along with platelegs - probably Jagex changed this and just didn't update the Knowledge Base. In our Prayer guide, it looks as if only the items at 800 kills are accurate. Finally, the white mace is included further down with the other maces, and the kill count for it also needs changing. Someone on the Crew will look at this as soon as we can. Thanks again! it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*. SportsGuy
I, too, have seen that the Wanted! guide appears different from other sources on the 'net. I am currently a 'peon' ranked player, but I would like to get a full set of White Armor soon. If I buy a cannon and advance some levels, I might be able to take notes (although I'm not sure you can check to see exactly how many kills you have at any point...just your "rank" or exact number of black knights killed?) Speedyshel
You could check if you wanted to. Once you advance a ranking, count count and count your kills until the next ranking and use that to check the gap between levels and that'll tell you which set of data is correct. Because the two sets of data have very different gaps between rankings. :ohnoes: However, Runescape has a page that shows the rankings and the number of kills required if you want to check that out. I'm sure their data is correct, but for personal satisfaction, you could count. :D The link is in my first post. - Speedyshel Website Updates and Corrections *..It is better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you're not..*

I know I could count, but if I haven't counted from the beginning, it would be tough to see where exactly those delineations exist (only that there is a gap of 100 or 400 or whatever), not to mention, killing with a cannon might be tough. The KB is sometimes off for some reason, which is why I think the crew likes people like us to test. I couldn't tell you where their KB is wrong, but I know they have been. I do have the feeling that Tip.It's guide is off, but that's now...when it was released, things could have been different. Jagex does make changes that sometimes don't make their update stickies, which is why Tip.It has a "hidden updates" sticky, I believe. Don't quote me on that, though! EDIT: Here's the link to the KB of which you wrote... http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarticle.ws?article_id=2146 [hide=My Stats]Attack:86/Hitpoints:88/Mining:74Strength:86/Agility:76/Smithing:75Defence:86/Herblore:74/Fishing:78Ranged:86/Thieving:73/Cooking:92Prayer:78/Crafting:82/Firemaking:86Magic:85/Fletching:77/Woodcutting:88Runecraft:71/Slayer:80/Farming:88Construction:70/Hunter:70/Summoning:69Dungeoneering:18Total level: 1936295/303 Quest PointsCombat Level: 117[/hide][hide=Interesting Links]My BlogSportsGuy's Short Guide to Ghostly WarriorsFamiliarisation Reward Research[/hide]
brainymidget
I'm a white knight master or whatever the highest one is and I don't think I've really killed many black knights since getting that so I can always check if someone knows how too. It's been so long since I've dealt with the black knights that I don't remember at all how to check so if someone tells me how to check(if I even can), then I will go and do that ASAP. That's great, Congrats on that! Not sure it's possible to check the exact number of kills, but if anyone does know if there's a way to do that, help is appreciated here :D - Speedyshel Website Updates and Corrections *..It is better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you're not..*
