Wow, DK'ing sure has changed a good bit in the past few years. Real nice guide though, even if I don't know what a lot of it means now :P

Has anyone tried running the beta on Linux yet? The Java one runs terribly on Linux by default and I'm hopeful the HTML5 one will be a bit better.

While it is true that in the past it did allow you get into full worlds and hop faster, they did remove that feature when asked to by Jagex and they always try to comply with Jagex's wishes for things like this. And the client was not hacked, it's site was. But at one point Tip.it's site was hacked as well, does that mean you will stop trusting Tip.it from that point on? If you don't wish to use Swiftkit, noone is forcing you.

Good to see Tip.it advancing so much recently. The website design getting finished up at last and rolled out, and now these partnerships with two of the really great Third-party applications available. It's a good time for Tip.it :)

Awesome. Been looking forward to this for so long. Had to have been 2-3 years ago when I first heard about it and saw the initial designs.

SoA looks interesting. If I have time to play anytime soon I'm gonna try that method. Also haven't gone DK'ing since prayer restores so that will change it a little bit.

I logged on today for the first time in about 2 weeks and walked down to Taverly black demons to find them completely and 100% empty. :)

Killing Dagannoth kings now states that the player killed a Dagannoth king (rather than Rex, Prime and Supreme) in the Adventurer's log to prevent filling the log. =D

They technically do have copyright claims on various texts, but I don't think that means they can take them down can they? Or else companies like Coca-cola could issue out Cease and desists every time someone mentioned their product. Then again, I have very little understanding of copyright laws.

Yes, we all started at higher than 91 thief and looted the RC Sarco everytime and most of the urns in rooms 7 and 8. I feel like gathering information on these new things is going to be particularly hard, because if I recall correctly, the Black Ibis robes work similar to the new Hybrid gear. Once you have played enough to get one piece, you should start getting it faster. So with those 5 pieces in 20m or so XP, whatever it was, I bet in the next 20m, you will have gotten 10-15 pieces, probably more.
