Master Slayer Guide by Axe Man Jack (AOW)
brainymidget replied to bigmoneyak's topic in Archive of Wisdom
Yes, with the forum changeover, some posts got giant spaces added between each paragraph. There is no fix for this besides users just changing their posts manually. -
Third day of my blog. Let's see what happened... Not a great day at school today. Got my spanish quiz back, got a 53% on it :(. I'm normally a straight A student but Spanish 3 honors is one of the hardest classes I've ever been in. Besides that it wasn't bad. I had a chemistry lab today so that was nice. Got my math test back that I was talking about yesterday and I was right, I did ace it. 102%. So ya, after school, walked home and had a free coupon for an Icee at Speedway and it was very delicious so that was nice :) Got home and found out there was a Runescape update so now I suppose I should stop blogging and get to work on stuff. Bye bye now :)

Welcome to Invision Power Board!
brainymidget replied to MageUK's topic in Announcements, Rules and Security Warnings!
My suggestion to everyone looking for the egosearch function is to go to "My settings", go to the "Forum" tab, and check the box for "Watch every topic I reply to" and leave "No email notification" selected. Then in the main index page, you should see three boxes to the right "Recently added topics", "Recent Blog Entries" and "Watched Content". In "Watched Content", click the "Topics" tab and there you will see every topic you have responded to that has new posts. You can also click "Show topic with no new" if you want to see all the topics, not just ones with posts. -
Hello everyone. This is day 2 of my blog. I'm gonna try out a new format for my blog with a list of what I do in the day. Woke up for school and got ready Aced my math test today Played some Halo Worked on crew. Fixing up the underground map quest guide to make it look better. More Halo Wrote up this blog post Hmm, I think I prefer paragraph format but I'm far too lazy to rewrite this so oh well :P

Well it's finally here. What do you think of it?
brainymidget replied to sarg1010's topic in General Discussion
A discussion topic has already been made for this. You can find it in the announcements forum. You can find the topic here: http://forum.tip.it/topic/246935-welcome-to-invision-power-board/ -
Personally, I find the only good set to use is the melee set as if you use the mage or range you lose the bonus that you would normally get from the armor while with melee, there are no such bonuses(except some small strength bonuses from a few things). Mage can be used in a few places but it's not all that useful and ahrims is for the most part better. Range can be helpful I suppose. You lose the bonuses from the ranged armor but you gain accuracy and ranged strength with it so it does work quite nicely although I don't personally use mine all that much. If you were using melee, one very helpful place for it would be waterfiends if you kill those all that often. If you aren't on a slayer task, I find void much more helpful there. There are some other places its useful but I can't think of any right now. Maybe if someone else comes along, they can be of a bit more help than me in this matter.

Hello all. Decided to make a blog with this and I hope to keep it updated every day. So ya, we'll just start off with what I've done today. I woke up today, got ready for school, and went to school. Average day of school, nothing much to note. Got home, played a bit of Halo, then went upstairs and onto my computer. Pretty much right as I got on, they were in the process of opening up the new forums, so that was exciting. I waited and watched as all the new people got on the forums and saw all the new stuff. Played some more Halo and I'm now just watching the Minnesota vs Green Bay game, well I suppose right now it's on half time but soon I'll be watching it again. I have no personal favorite in this game but I have a fantasy league with my brothers and some friends and right now, my brother just has two people left, Adrian Peterson and Ryan Longwell, the running back and kicker for Minnesota, and they have to have an average game to beat me, so I'm really rooting against them. And well, that's my day.

What ones in particular conflict? Because I believe that in Tipits fletching guide, they include the exp for the entire process, while mine is just the final step, such as adding the feathers to the unfinished bolts.

Just added herb farming one as I did in old forums but had to carry it over. So ya, and apparently Runescape Wikia made mine outdated so that makes me sad :( But oh well, these can just be examples for my Google Docs GE extracting guide so ya :) EDIT: Wow, just looked at Runescape Wikias. Their calculators are really nice. I'm impressed. I'm not even gonna be using my own calculator anymore, I'm going there :P

When you click edit, it should open the quick editor, but under that, there should be the option called "Use Full Editor". You can edit your topic title there.

How to use Google Docs to extract GE prices ~By Brainymidget
brainymidget replied to brainymidget's topic in General Guides
Oo Aging Miser I like it. Edited that to include the Concat and it worked. Here's what I used for Dragon Pickaxe. =MID(Index(ImportHtml(Concat("http://itemdb-rs.runescape.com/results.ws?query=",A5),"table",2),2,3), 1,3)*1000000 -

You must be wearing the god cape to use the charge spell, which makes god spells much more powerful. -
Barrows Mini-game Guide issues
brainymidget replied to Mecakoto's topic in Completed Website Corrections
I used to barrow quite often and am 95% sure that there was at the very least an animation for it. I'll try and get down there and check it out. Oh and Watchwoord is going to take this over as he is a bit more experienced at Barrows than I am. He will be posting here soon. -

Smoke Runecrafting ~~ Quick read ~~ 32-40k exp per hour
brainymidget replied to warrior5024's topic in General Guides
Very nice guide, I'll have to try this. Oh and I made a Google Docs. http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key= ... utput=html This automatically extracts prices of the items from the GE and does the formula to calculate the cost of everything, and what a smoke rune is worth and then does how much you profit per smoke rune and how much you profit per trip. -
My worst ping(highest) was 383 in Australia. My best(lowest) was 74 in Pennsylvania. I live in Ohio by the way. A lot of the states near me had fairly low pings. Pennsylvania - 74 Wisconsin - 75 Ohio - 76 Texas - 76 Canada - 77 Illinois - 77

-# The Great Tip.It Grid #- New support Sigs!
brainymidget replied to Danqazmlp's topic in Off-Topic
Am I allowed to post a 2 x 2 grid of squares to represent Tipitcrew or do I need to get 4 people to post one each? If I can just post the entire grid, then here it is. http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/8290/tipitgrid.png EDIT: Changed background. Apparently the background I made got reverted back during editing. -
Change of Forum Software - UPDATED!
brainymidget replied to MageUK's topic in Forum Updates and Suggestions
Everything that will be converted is listed here, just click phpBB 3.0 http://www.invisionpower.com/products/b ... hp#callout And as you can see emoticons are listed on there. The only thing I can see on there that might worry the users is forum passwords, but don't worry, that's not your passwords. Passwords can be put on forums so only users who know the password have access but as far as I know, we don't even have any forums like that so that's not a problem. -
Change of Forum Software - UPDATED!
brainymidget replied to MageUK's topic in Forum Updates and Suggestions
Can't wait. I've personally used both IPB and PhpBB forums. I find them both very good but I personally find IPB a bit better and I'm sure the V3 will be even better than what I've used. -
I'll take a look over that and likely add a map showing safespots for both hybriding and maging. I'll keep you updated with what I'm doing.
