Just realized how useful Greasemonkey really was so I've decided to start using it, so I decided we could have a thread where people could post all the Greasemonkey scripts that they personally use. My personal ones: Runescape forum helper: Makes your posts on forums Blue so it's easier to see. RS - Advanced Highscores: Add's combat as a skill to Hi-scores, both F2P and P2P phpBBv3 Quick Edit: Allows you to quickly edit posts on phpBB3 forums like Tipit. phpBBv3 Quick Reply: Same as above but quick reply. For whatever reason, I can't get the last two to work quite right. If a mod feels fit, this could be locked or merged with Firefox tips thread but I feel that this kind of branches off and deserves it's own topic.

Ya but Erjolf gives you a knife, tinderbox, and spade near the beginning of the quest.

Hey, here's just a little mini-guide to the new quest. Posting it fast, gonna update it over the next 5-10 minutes to make it more readable. Items required: 8 cosmic runes, 8 water runes, 8 sapphires(or Pickaxe and chisel), hatchet Items suggested: Dramen staff or something to teleport near Relekka. 1. Talk to Erjolf, he will talk about a secret inside the caves. Agree to keep his secret and follow him into the caves. 2. Jump across the flat rock to get to Erjolf. 3. Follow Erjolf into the cave opening to the west. 4. Walk to the east and talk with Erjolf. You will discover that he saw something pointy in the cave, that looked like a piece of armour, and he wants to find that to prove his worth and pass the Trials. 5. Offer to help Erjolf with the Trials. He will tell you that he thinks he knows a way to melt the ice. Tell him you're ready to learn how to melt the ice. 6. After Erjolf shows you how to melt the ice, talk with him and he will give you a knife, tinderbox, and spade, the tools needed to melt the ice. 7. Now what you need to do is melt the entire piece of ice in the center. To do this, you need to hit it with fire rafts, but it's not that simple. There are streams on each side of the room. The north stream feeds the pool, while the south, east, and west all flow out of the pool. So you need to block certain streams so that the water will flow towards the center. This entire section is not very complete. I messed up while writing this and missed quite a bit. The first step is thawing the east side of the center piece. To do this block the south and east streams so it's all flowing towards the west. Then stand on the northern flat rock of the eastern stream, and launch a raft. That will melt the east side of the center piece. The second step is thawing the northern side. To do this, block the east and the west streams so it is all flowing south. Then stand on the north side of the cavern, directly north of the ice block. And launch a raft. That will melt the north side. Third step is thawing the western side. Block the south and west streams so it's all flowing east. Then stand directly west of the center piece of ice and launch a raft to melt it. Now, fourth step is the south side. This one is a bit trickier. What you need to do for this one is block the southern and eastern sides so all the water is flowing west. Then you need to stand on the shore facing to the west, but this part of the shore is on a curve. Now you need to let loose 5 rafts to take out all the ice on that side of the center piece. 8. Once all the ice is melted, talk with Erjolf and he will realize it isn't armour but a frozen monster. Erjolf will tell you to talk with a historian at the Trollweis hunter area and tell him about the creature. Take a good look at the monster in the ice, and then leave the cave. 9. Once you leave the cave, head to the west to get out of that snowy area, and then head north along a narrow strip of land into the trollweis hunter area. Head as far north as you can go, and then go up the stairs. Head to the Northeast corner and talk with the Natural Historian. 10. The Natural Historian will start asking you questions about what the creature looks like, answer the questions of how the Monster looked. The correct answers are: What colour is the creature? Yellow How many arms does it have? Four How many legs? none Describe its head. [bleep]ed Describe the tail. [bleep]ed Describe the hands. Pincers 11. The Natural Historian will tell you the creature is a myth and it doesn't exist, but there is a statue of the creature located east of the Desert Mining Camp, and he will give you a lumbridge teleport tablet to get there. 12. Use the lumbridge tablet or any method you wish to get down to the desert and run down to the Desert Mining Camp. Once you're there, head straight east, all the way to the River Elid, where you will find a sand pile. Dig it out and you will be approached by Ali the Wise. 13. Ali the Wise will tell you tales of the monster which is called a Muspah. He also says that it is a myth but doesn't exist, but after you convince him it is real, he will tell you how to free it from the ice. Bank: 8 Cosmic Runes, 8 Water Runes, 8 Sapphires(Or a pickaxe and a chisel), Hatchet 14. Make your way back to the cave, and if you brought a pickaxe instead of the sapphires, mine all the sapphires from the rocks within the cave, and cut them with a chisel. 15. After explaining the story to Erjolf, walk across the bridge and bore your sapphires into the ice. Once they are all in the ice, click on the ice to cast enchant sapphires on it(It is not required to be on normal magics). 16. Now the Muspah will be unfrozen and Erjolf will come over to get his trophy. The Muspah will come to life and Erjolf will run away. Talk to the Muspah and you will find that it was really a Mahjharrat named Jhallan who had transformed into the shape of a Muspah. 17. Jhallan will need your help to put him back into hibernation. Go right outside the cave and talk to Erjolf. Erjolf will tell you that you can travel by Canoe to get around the shore. 18. Walk up to the trollweis hunter area but this time when you get to the stairs, head west to get to the shore, where Erjolf will be sitting with a log. 19. Make the log into a canoe and then travel with it, which will bring you to an area north of trollweis. Go down into the cave and head south to find Jhallan. He will need to find a peaceful spot to rest. Head to the far southwest of the cave where you will find an area that is icy, has no monsters, has no light, and has no running water. 20. Now bore sapphires around Jhallan and enchant sapphires to encase him in ice. Right before you do this, he will give you a Tail of the Muspah, that you can give to Erjolf. Leave the cave and travel across the canoe to get back to Erjolf, and give him the Muspah tail. QUEST COMPLETE Hints and Tips: Talk to the historian after digging up the statue and he will give you a 200 xp lamp. After the cave, you can talk to Ali the Wise and tell him all the information you have about Mahjarrahts.

PKM Slayers of Dangerous Beasts OR Guardians of Fate -
Just a little heads up. They are a pretty good well organized clan, with somewhat big numbers but not huge. SoDB fought them in the first round, and we didn't put any real preparation towards the Combat Cup, as we were trying to focus on Combined and Skilling. It was 24 of Nova, vs 10 of SoDB. 3 of their members disconnected immediately, so 21 v 10 fight. It ended up a 19 v 0, we were absolutely demolished.

Some 'blogger' parent thinks RS makes kids fat
brainymidget replied to shivers21's topic in General Discussion
That is definitely true. There is a girl that goes to my school that does nothing but read. She reads during every class at school and at home as well. She reads probably a book or more every day. And as a result of that, she is very overweight. That just shows obesity can result from many things, video games are just one of them. -
Using CoG without autocast will get extremely annoying. If it doesn't bother you, then you're fine to do it, but believe me, you'll get annoyed.

[Done] ogre statue in Bandos room

Are you positive it wasn't the Ourg(Level 200)? I killed Ogres for quite a while without a nature runes drop, although I suppose it could just be rare. -
You're sure that you hadn't been there for a long time? If you stay around for a while, just about any monster will get bored of you and stop attacking.

Error in Great Orb Project Guide
brainymidget replied to Kidd_Varrow's topic in Completed Website Corrections
Oh I see what you mean. I haven't personally played GOP in a rather long time, but just comparing Jagex' with Tip.it, it looks like we might have it slightly wrong. -
I used to hunt implings quite often and don't ever remember getting that. You have any picture proof of it?
-
I had this same problem a few days ago. On Tip.it front page, at the top, there are links to the two newest "Runescape News' and the two newest "Community News". A week or so ago, I saw in the community news, it displayed two rather old topics, one of which was, as said by Delta, was about the "Moderator Trainee promotion". Unfortunately, this happened between January and June 2008 which was erased during the Tip.it crash, so instead of linking to the "Moderator trainee promotion" topic, it linked to where the link would be, which was some topic about someone wanting to learn to DK. I believe this has been fixed since then however, and looking at it now, the two topics in community news are "Contest Winners - March 2009!" and "Jagex reaches out to Tip.It". I'm not entirely sure why yours still shows it messed up. You could try doing a hard refresh with "Ctrl + F5" to force it to reload everything. This might fix the problem.

Error with barbarian assault guide
brainymidget replied to huloo5678's topic in Completed Website Corrections
I seem to remember that it used to give exp, but I haven't played barbarian assault in many many months. Are you basing this idea off your memory or did you just recently play barbarian assault and actually look to make sure you got exp? If you are sure of this, some proof would be good so the crew can know that this is true and implement it into the guide. -
Yes without a doubt. They cost twice as much, but hit 1.5 times more, so it's not 2x the cost, its about 1.5x the cost per damage. Also, it will greatly speed up the trips making you get drops much faster.
