  1. Strange fruit was taken out as a random event. They will still appear time to time in the Brimhaven area where you can pick their fruit. So no, not a discontinued item.
  2. I personally think they should keep it how it is, it makes everything simple. But... if they were to change it, I would say the best idea would be what someone said on the first page, about just charging you for if you log in a day. Now I'm not saying this exact idea, it should be changed a little bit. If it was this idea, people could go away for a year, and still have their member credit, and be making money off Miscellania or other things, because I don't think they should make it so that if you don't play, those things don't do anything. So here's my personal idea: Make it so that if you didn't play for that day, all the daily things and all that still go normally, like Miscellania and Tears of Guthix. If you don't play, you lose 1/3 or 1/2 a day of membership credit, and if you do play, you lose a full day of membership credit. On the login screen, they could set it to you have 11 days of membership credit left and just make the fraction invisible, or they could just make it show as 11 2/3 days left.
  3. I'm sure you've noticed that I haven't updated this in a while. It's not because I've forgotten about it. It's just that I haven't gained any levels in the last few weeks. I've been learning some programming language, been working on the SoDB site, as well as playing a fair bit of Funorb. But now I'm trying to get back to getting some levels and stuff. Today I got 81 and 82 smithing by using my brawling gloves.
  4. I can do it in Html, javascript, php, C++, and in most of those there is more than just one way to write it. For example, you can use the cout command or the print command.

    Today...

I woke up, I turned on my computer, I looked at this post, I yawned, I posted this.
  6. Ya, Installed XAMPP, I think it's pretty much the same thing as WAMP. I guess I'll practice with some other things the move on to dynamic images and such.
  7. Can anyone link me to a guide to make a stat signature or something of the sort?
  8. Hehe, wow, that was quite an action packed day. My thoughts are they won't ban everyone that tried it. Here is how I think they should ban people: Did it once or twice in a safe area - Call it an accident and forget about it Did it 5+ times in a safe area - Warning, maybe a temporary ban. Did it 15+ times in a safe area, or once in a dangerous area - 10 day ban at least Used it to cause others to lose large amounts of money or make yourself profit large amounts - Permanent ban
  9. Ok, now I'm trying to learn Php, so I'm installing it so I can work with a bit. Now here's where I come across the problem. I can't find out how to install it. I went to Php.net and installed the latest version but it doesn't seem to open. Do I have to install more than one thing for this? Can anyone help me out?
  10. Dang, i had no idea they were even releasing a new Operating System. I'm surprised I never heard about this. Now I've missed the beta :(
  11. Now I am fairly food with Html, and I'm learning Javascript right now. Javascript is a fair bit more confusing though. For anyone wondering, a good site to learn any kind of coding is http://www.w3schools.com/ I'm planning to learn Php next.
  12. Ok, I know a bit of HTML and Javascript. I think that I will learn more of those and also learn a bit of Php, for all the website coding that I will ever do. Also, I think that I will learn something else, maybe Python, VB, C++, or maybe Delphi, whatever I can find a good tutorial on. Preferably one that doesn't just teach me how to do it, but also gives me instructions on how to make some basic program, because it's a lot easier to learn if I'm actually doing it.
  13. What are all the uses for these languages? Are they all going to be able to do relatively the same thing? Are some more useful? In what ways? Also, what would I use if I wanted to make a runescape stat signature or something similar to that? That's one thing I really want to try.
  14. I'm not currently experienced in any programming language, although I have a question for everyone. What is one of the most useful programming languages that isn't too hard to learn. Also, is there a good place to learn this either online or from a book most likely available in a local library. My high-school doesn't teach any programming classes but I'm interested in learning.
  15. ...... Wireless keyboards are ok, but wireless mice I find are unreliable. I had one for a while, it would misclick and have difficulty tracking. The thing you can do is have spare batteries next to your pc. There should be a little LED that will bleep or whatever to indicate that it's running out. Really? I love my wireless mouse (Logitech). It wouldn't be possible for me to live without it. I use it for presentations (to cheap to buy another device for that, but it works) and every day use; the tracking and clicking are superb, if not more reliable than my previous optical mouse (this one is an invisible optic, over a different type which wouldn't track on glass, which is what my desk is made of). Ya, logitech are the way to go, although I have a laser one, which as you said, doesn't work on glass, and my desk is a very shiny black, so it has the same effect, so I have to use a mousepad. But besides that, my mouse is absolutely superb, I believe they advertise a 6 month or 1 year battery life, and unlike most, this one is actually kind of true. I've owned this mouse for I'm not sure how long, I think since my birthday in September and as far as I remember, I haven't had to ever swap out the batteries and I've never had a problem with it. I think I paid like $40 for this mouse, and it's the best mouse I've ever had.
  16. Tip.it and SoDB. Without them, I would have quit RS a long long time ago.
  17. Well, I just tried getting on SkillnChill forums and it has the same problem, which made me think that the problem was with PhpBB. I then checked them both and I noticed they had the same problem, there were a lot of duplicate cookies. I tried deleting the duplicates but it still didn't work, so I'm not entirely sure what's wrong, I'll experiment a little more and see what I find.
  18. I had been doing it by the option in Firefox, but right now I am running Disk Cleanup as well as Ad-Aware, so we'll see if that does anything.
  19. Months ago, maybe over a year, it was called the Dd(s) for Dragon Dagger (Super-poisoned), and then the other two were still Dd(p+) And Dd(p) but a while ago they changed it to Dd(p++) to make it less complicated.
  20. I know it's answered already but I use one that seems even better than that. http://www.johnsadventures.com/software ... dswitcher/ Johns background switcher can look in your folders, or online on specified places that you choose and it can set you a random background at specified intervals. I personally change my background every 30 minutes and I use a nice feature that JBS also offers. Snapshot scrapbook takes 5 or so pictures, and puts them as small pictures on your background, looks really cool. Here's what my background looks like.
  21. Argh, please move this. I clicked the wrong forum, meant to post in the Tech and help forum. I apologize.
  22. Well, a couple weeks ago, I noticed a little problem I was having. I couldn't log in to Tip.it forums. I went to log in, I typed in my password, I hit log in, and it brought me to the page to redirect. As soon as I clicked Return to Board index, it logged me right back out. It did this every single time, there was no way to get around it. Finally, I realized the problem was with the cookies that forum.tip.it put onto my computer. I went to Tools > Options > Privacy and clicked Show cookies. I went and deleted the cookies from forum.tip.it and this made it work. I was able to log on fine, no more problems. But then the next day, I reopened Firefox and again, I had the same problem. I have to delete the cookies off here every time I open Firefox. I then tried something else, deleting all cookies. I did this, I had to reset some options on some things, mainly logging me in automatically for other forums I used but just like when I deleted the forum.tip.it cookies, the next time I reopened Firefox, the problem was back. Every single cookie I had deleted had returned, even ones for sites that I hadn't been to in months. So basically, I need help with how I can delete my cookies without them returning the next time I reopen Firefox.
