Hmm k so since this is where photoshop is used most ima post this here....

 

 

 

I have been working on this picture today in photoshop and everything was working fine. but now when i open photoshop, and go to open the file, it says 'Could not complete your request because the file is not compatible with this version of photoshop'

 

 

 

Anyone know whats going on?

Sounds like you saved it incorrectly or the file got corrupt somehow.

well i was working on it like half hour ago... Any ideas on how it could be fixed?

You probably saved it in a PSD which then got corrupted. You may also have saved it in a different PSD file (sort of like how Microsoft Word can save in 98 version).

 

Is it a legal copy of Photoshop? Some torrented versions can have incomplete DLLs and such.

The file is probably corrupted.
