Some of you may remember my predicament with steel drags lately and the slayer point system, after much varied advice I decided to just burthorpe and get back up to the 10th task and revisit Duradel, which I've done and he's given me....Black Dragons!

 

 

 

My problem? I've never fought these before either! What's the best/most effective kind of setup for fighting these? I wanna get through them kinda quickish, and am open to all suggestions/ideas irrelevant of cost(though I'm not gonna go spending like 3mil on just this one task). Tell me what I need, tell me what to do! Any help and advice is very much appreciated!!

I believe if you wanted to get through it quickly you could just go kill baby black dragons in the chaos tunnels. If you want to do black dragons then I think the most popular choice is range. Some people also kill kbd for this task but as you want speed that's probably not the best idea.

 

 

 

edit: after looking at your range that would probably be quite slow anyway.

Yeah, was gonna point out my ranged is only like 67, so I'm looking at meleeing them I think. I just don't know what the best gear is to do it in/with, what to take, any specific weaknesses etc...

Standard melee gear with anti d'fire pot and shield in chaos tunnels.

There are green drags mixed in there as well, don't forget. (At least from what I remember)

 

 

 

Also if you were looking for a bit of more money.. and you wanted to do Black dragons then stick with range... either way melee or range they are going to be slow with your stats. At least you lose less money with range.

I know there are green drags there as well but you still don't need the anti fire pot just anti fire shield especially as he's 80 def.

Erm I'm not too sure where to fight them (only ever fought some once in taverly dungeon), but i've heard that anti fire pot, and anti dragonshield whilst praying melee make good and efficient combo....... and they shouldn''t be hard to kill with your levels

Thanks for all the replies guys, looked into it all and decided to go with the baby blacks in the chaos tunnels like some of you suggested, was indeed rather speedy and now I have a nice 75 points under my belt! Thanks for the info guys!!
