Hey!

My first topic posted on here! Anyways, I have been reading the guides about manage thy kingdom, and was wondering which choices should I make in terms of the collectors? If anyone could show or suggest why this is the case, that would also be greatly appreciated!

I have mine on 9 raw fish and 6 maple trees.

I put 1.2 million in my coffers, and I collect it every sunday/monday, whenever I have the time for it.

If I remember to do it, I go cut some trees for Leif and keep my rating at 100 % -- that often don't happen though, I usually just leave it there for the whole week.

Anyway, from that combination I usually get at least a 150k profit from the fish only!

But theres also the 3-5k maple logs you get, together with the Bird's Nests with seeds and rings. From the one with seeds you can get lucky and get maple/yew/magic seeds that are several thousand golds each. (Magic is 160k at the moment.)

But a good weeks profit is usually 400-600k gold.

Thanks for the advice! I heard someone mention 100% fish and 50% maples, so I think you have a good system there. Say if you did not refresh to 100% for lets say a week, what will your likeness be? An estimate would be great! thanks again!

Depending upon what you really want out of your kingdom the push for most money may not be the best idea.

I for instance wanted the most money so I have my kingdom on fish and flax which yeilds the highest returns.

Recently however I have wanted to get some coal without ever noticing it so I shifted one of my flax pickers over to the coal pit. Though it cuts down on my profits a small bit, I receive coal over a period of time as well as misc gems. Since it does not affect my profits very much it is nice to see a stack of 2k coal and a few gems.

If farming is your cup of tea, maples are ideal but the actual logs will lose money. Since you are farming you really cannot rely on the seeds from the nests. Coupled this with fish and you can still net a proft while getting the seeds that you want. Truthfully you are better off fletching those maples into unstrung bows and using them as junk for potential or trades.

The hardwoods are never worth it in my opinion. The herbs will net a profit but not nearly as high as flax. If herblaw is your interest though this might help a small bit.

And fish should always have 10 workers and be uncooked. And for maximum profit fish/flax is the way to go.

Approval deminishes at a rate of 1% a day so over the course of 7 days you lose 7% dropping 100% to 93. This will affect your yields but not that badly. I personally visit my kingdom everyday because the fairy ring in edgeville makes the trip a matter of a couple of minutes.

Thanks very much for your input. I am not interested in any of the items for personal use, but you have given mesome good information! I am thinking at the moment of putting 9 on fish and 6 on maples as I intend to get the xp and need junk for trades etc etc

Thanks for the reply!

How has that worked out for you profit wise? Also, if you are using say workers for mining, does the help you give them have to be mining related?

1st question:

i try to keep my support at 100%, so i go there everyday to replenish from 99 -> 100. usually i double what i spend when i collect. ex: keep coffers going for 10 days, 100% each day, i spend 750k. i sell collected resources for ~1.5m

2nd question:

no, it does not have to be in mining. help can come in any form, like WC or weeding or fishing
