Leaf sword drops possible before smoking kills completion?

In the Slayer guide (on-site) it clearly states below the "slayer drops" chart that leaf-bladed swords are only possible drops from Turoths after completion of Smoking Kills.

 

However, I have gotten a Leaf-bladed sword before finishing Smoking kills (I know it wasn't complete because I was doing the quest at the time of writing).

 

 

 

As such, the Sword drop info needs to be revised.

Ya, I have also seen quite a few friends who have gotten Leaf-bladed swords without doing Smoking Kills. I think back when Smoking Kills was released you might have needed to have done the quest but I know now, you can get it whenever.
