March 14, 200917 yr I just made a new account that I want to make a mage pure. I am not familiar with pures so I do not know how to train him. I dont know If i should have defence, or not, or whatever. I am asking that you supply me with information on how to make a kick butt pure for pvp worlds. This is an F2P account. I'd also like to know what gear i should equip and what I should bringi ni my backpack. Thank You (don't ask for stats as aI just made the ac[bleep])
March 15, 200917 yr I would curse your magic lvl up so that you dont gain hp exp. Im not sure if you want to get defence. I guess you can still be good with or without it. I would keep 1 def if i were you. You may want to lvl another stat besides just mage. Maybe str or range. Hope that helps.
March 15, 200917 yr Pure mages kick butt in PvP from cb 30-35, then your pure is going to get beat up by every ranger there is. They are a lot of fun, although expensive to train. I would suggest you train range aswell as your mage to 1) get some hitpoint xp NOT associated with maging, and 2) to earn some gp. Train using failed curse, or teleports/alchs if you are rich. Train range using bronze arrows on minataurs once you are 20 range. Do chickens up to 20. Keep all noted stuff, and all arrows. Good luck!

Use combat magic, HP is important. 10 def for combat robe bottoms (uncharged) adds a nice +2 bonus and helps you risk more too if you have trouble getting over 25k. I have a mage pure who uses this setup. OH S***! He/she/it is back!
