Jesus_Status
i hear alot about it being an effiecient way to train mage but how, i worked it out and it would cost me just under 35mil to get 99 mage, this doesn't seem to effiecient to me...unless im doing something wrong 126542(casts) x 276 (cost of astrals) ----------- 34,925,592 is this right? Reded
Low cost doesnt equal efficiency :) This method gives 140K + Magic XP An hour (Yes, I have managed this and I wasn't even trying to get the fastest XP Possible :P) That is faster XP Than ice barraging (Again, yes I've tested) So I'd say String Amulet is indeed pretty efficient. The only downside is that unstrung jewellry isn't easy to get hold of in huge numbers :( The presence of those seeking the truth is infinitely to be preferred to those who think they've found it. SwreeTak
Man, have you even played RS? :o If you have you know that money is for making gathering xp faster...Just precisly as it is in this case. It's very efficant, and that's probably also why it is quite expensive. Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak

dirk4slayer
As pointed out above, the efficiency is not in the costs but in the speed of String Jewellery. The time you save using String Jewellery instead of Alching can be used to make the money you spent on the amulets back, so technically you've done the training more efficient. Also, a part I liked very much about String Jewellery is that it can sort of be AFK'ed, while with Alching and Superheating you're stuck to your ingame screen and can't watch forums or whatever. Chuck Norris doesn't ever need a compass; he randomly points somewhere and north goes there in order not to anger him.
