March 16, 200917 yr Once I max melee I am going to get 99 summoning. I may as well do this via Rock Lobsters to start off with as the mage XP won't go amiss. I understand the principles of bursting/barraging rock lobsters but need some figures. Reason being people bandy figures about all the time, sometimes they are XP per 1k cast's sometimes per trip. So if anyone knows the following could they please post: Using the 9 lobster spot: Mage XP per 1k bursts Mage XP per 1k barrage Crimsons per 1k bursts Crimsons per 1k barrage How many 1k bursts can you make in a trip? (assuming maxed melee stats, 91 mage and 88 summoning) All the other maths I can work out with the above figures. On a side note is it best to burst to barrage? Money is an object, but I am hoping with maxed melee stats I can get on a decent GWD clan. Thanks in advance. Trust the Gene Genie!
March 16, 200917 yr Personally I despise killing lobs and my numbers probably are not taken from a large enough sample size to be accurate, so i won't bother you with that, however, I would advise that you barrage and that you take a crush weapon along(preferrably sgs to save some p pots) to finish off the stragglers so that you don't waste one or two casts on just one o two lobsters. Also, you don't need to be maxed to get on good teams...look at my drop list, I think it's decentish and I don't have any 99s at all. March 16, 200917 yr Barrage is more cost-effective than burst, not including the time saved. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
