March 21, 200917 yr Currently the only way for me to get live is through wireless, and i don't really want to spend $100 on the network adapter for 360. I've heard that gaming bridges are better? Can anybody recommend one? EDIT: I'm probably going to move my 360 downstairs so I can directly connect to my router. Am I supposed to get a crossover or patch cable?

Can anybody recommend one? Do you have some old hardware lying around? Or a laptop you can keep near the Xbox when you want to use it? I'm not paying $100 for their adapter either. I bought a crossover cable and use my laptop as an internet connection for the Xbox when needed. If you have an old PC or something, a basic linux distro, a $20 wireless PCI card, and a crossover cable would do the trick for well under $100.
March 23, 200917 yr If you're going to move your 360 so you can get a direct connection, you'll just need an ethernet cable. There's a good chance your 360 came with one. It might be long enough, but if it isn't you can just easily go out and buy one. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience.

March 23, 200917 yr No laptop or old computer :x have you thought of using an old router? Try asking around to see if anybody has one they no longer want. I am not exactly sure how, but it is possible to get the routers to 'talk' to each other, like they would with a PC so they will share thier internet connection, just have the one you were given sitting with the xbox 360.
